Competition Results – Seymour

We have completed our third competition of the season, at Immanuel Lutheran School, winning 2 awards, and a qualification for the State competition on March 9th!

Due to many teams not showing up to the competition, we were able to register 2 additional teams to this competition, allowing all four of our teams to compete. The teams were 7282A, 7282F, 7282C, and 7282Z. Throughout the day teams continued to work on minor hardware improvements to their robots, and autonomous programs. The teams did a great job throughout the day, ending up winning two out of six total awards at the competition. This makes it the third consecutive competition that at least one of our teams has won an award, great job Auto Flashes! Two teams ended up in the semi-final rounds, however were knocked out in them. Skills runs were majorly improved based on previous competitions, and teams are now working to improve them even more, as at the end of the year, the top 20 teams in the State on skills are invited to the State competition, regardless if they have won an award qualifying them for it.

7282A placed 6th in skills at the competition with 11 points on driver and 6 points on autonomous.

7282C placed 5th in skills at the competition with 16 points on driver and 2 points on autonomous.

7282F did not participate in skills.

7282Z placed 10th in skills at the competition with 10 points on driver and 0 points on autonomous.
